Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a dental procedure to save a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted. Indications include severe pain or sensitivity, deep cavity, a crack, or an infection. The inflamed or infected pulp which contains the tooth nerves and blood supply is cleaned and disinfected with special tools, then filled and sealed. The procedure usually takes around an hour to an hour and a half. Our dentists at sunridge family dental are extremely experienced with this procedure and will do everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible. You will be completely numb so you shouldn't feel anything at all. If you are anxious, we offer sedation as well!
